Premier weekend in the newly renovated Jochum Performing Arts Center featured performances of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. The musical is based on a movie of the same name which tells the story of Millie, a young bride, living in the 1850's Oregon wilderness. She decides to refine and marry off her six new rowdy brothers-in-law, but in their enthusiasm the brothers end up kidnapping six women from a neighboring town to be their brides.
